Job Duties and Responsibilities
Learning Development & Facilitation:
Collaborate with cross functional leaders to identify and facilitate all learning needs in critical areas of DC/MFC Operations; this includes Operations, Safety, HR, Compliance, Leadership Skills, On-boarding, etc.When necessary, collaborate with Learning team to adapt learning content to meet the needs of the DC Operations team and DC hourly teammates to meet the needs of a specific DCOversight of teammate compliance for required learning and work with teammate and their leadership to develop a plan(s) to rectifySupport New Teammate On-boarding by scheduling and executing on-boarding and act on survey results and check-in findings to ensure teammate engagement and drive new teammate retentionThis role has the potential to have direct reports.Oversee the DC Learning Group Leads & Operational Trainers:
Ownership of candidate selection, Train the Trainer Program, on-boarding and timely facilitation for newly selected Learning Group Leads and Operational TrainersPrimary source of coaching, guidance, and support to the learning team; responsible for ensuring that champions are working with teammates to complete their on-boarding and ongoing learning throughout employmentProvide coaching and feedback to Learning Group Leads and Operational Trainers as neededTeammate Coaching & Development:
Support low-performing PAR team members identified through regular meetings; work with Supervisor/Manager to build a recovery plan with teammate buy-in and commitment and manage Learning Leads to help complete necessary training for teammate to improve; provide coaching and guidance to Group Learning Leaders within the departmentHelp leadership to build a culture focused on safety, engagement, and development through learningEvaluate SME Effectiveness:
Collaborate with Learning Group Leads to identify opportunities identified through reporting (productivity, accuracy, process breakdowns, cross-learning needs, etc.)Collaborate with fellow DC Learning Managers, the learning team, and site HR & DC Ops leadership to build learning consistency across all DCsEnsure that learning materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective; responsibilities will also include suggesting enhancement and modification to improve engagement, learning, and retention to meet the changing needs of the business.Ensure learning checklists are current and accurateAct as a champion for PAR adherence, strong coaching & feedback practices, productivity, accuracy, and preferred work methods throughout the Distribution CenterQUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree; in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree, 5-7 years of experience
3-5 years eperience in DC Ops Supervisory and/or Learning Lead experience highly preferred
