DC Inventory Control Associate
Summary

The Distribution Center Inventory Control Associate role consists of an individual who can improve the inventory process by effectively managing inventory activities and collaborating with other DC personnel to identify and address areas of concern. The DC Inventory Control Associate is responsible for tracking stock, auditing and identifying process breakdowns as well as resolving discrepancies and issues as it relates to inventory activities. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, quick learner, with a strong attention to detail, works well in independent situations, and has the ability to build relationships with business partners and other teams.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesManage the inventory activities in the warehouse, including the movement and deletion of inventory items.Partner with DC assistant and other warehouse personnel to resolve discrepancies and issues as it relates to inventory product Track stock movement in and out of the Reserve locations and ensure process flow of products through pick line.Perform regular audits and notifies department of low stock levels, transfers needed, and any other discrepancies found during audits.Identify and provide solutions for means of opportunity within the inventory process. Escalates findings and concerns to Manager.Understand and demonstrate safe work practices at all times to ensure a safe work environment.Comply with all company policies and procedures.Knowledge: Skills, and Abilities2+ years' experience in inventory controlCompetitive drive to succeedFlexible and adaptable to changeExemplary mathematical skillsAbility to work efficiently with a high level of independence and initiative, self-motivatedWell-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced Work environmentBe a proactive and good problem solver, and possess excellent communication skillsHave excellent time management skills and a commitment to meeting tight deadlinesExperience and CredentialsHigh School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience requiredMust be 18 or olderMust be able to read, speak and understand EnglishAbility to lift up to 35 pounds and be on feet for 3 to 8 hours Must be computer literate
