Job Description Insight Global is hiring a DB2 Physical DBA to join our Fortune 500 client, an IT infrastructure services provider. You will have the opportunity to support a payroll processing customers mainframe environment as a DB2 Physical DBA. You will provide remote support (in EST zone) and be a part of an on-call rotation. Skills and Requirements 10+ years experience working in mainframe DB2 environment  Implements database back-up, recovery, and archiving strategy  Maintains and supports Db2 database applications  Maintains highest levels of stability, integrity, reliability, and availability  Understanding of Mainframe Utilities, Database Utilities and Stored Procedures  Strong understanding of data modeling fundamentals (e.g., primary and foreign keys, constraints, indexing, etc.)  Experience with performance analysis and ability to optimize SQL workloads  Understanding of Sysplex mainframe configuration including data sharing null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
