Responsibilities :

Manage and maintain Oracle database environments to ensure high availability, performance, and reliabilityImplement database backup, recovery, and security practices to protect organizational dataDesign, configure, and maintain comprehensive database monitoring solutions to promptly identify and resolve issuesOptimize database performance through tuning and query optimizationCollaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions that meet project requirementsConduct regular audits to ensure database compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirementsPlan and manage database upgrades, migrations, and patching activitiesDocument database configurations, procedures, and best practices accuratelyProvide expertise and support for database-related incidents and service requestsMentor junior database administrators and provide technical guidance

Skills&Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:Bachelor’s degree or higher in in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldYears of Experience:Minimum of 4 years of experience in database administration with a focus on Oracle databasesTechnical Skills:Extensive experience with Oracle Database (versions 12c, 19c, and above)Proficiency in Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data GuardStrong knowledge of performance tuning, query optimization, and database securityExpertise in backup and recovery methodologies using RMANExperience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for database monitoring and managementProficiency in PL/SQL scripting and database programmingFamiliarity with Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scriptingSolid understanding of data modeling and database design principlesExperience with cloud-based Oracle solutions (OCI) is a plusExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills
