We are delighted to share that we are searching for a Day Operator to join our team at Linkwood Distillery!This role is a fantastic opportunity to be part of something wonderful!
Salary of £35,228 which includes a competitive benefits package including pension, shares scheme and bonus!
Linkwood, one of the many distilleries in our portfolio, started production in 1825. Situated on the outskirts of Elgin, the site carries out 21 mashes per week, producing over 5 million litres of new make spirit annually, which results in a beautiful green/grassy character.
About the role
Day Operators have a key role in ensuring that tankers are dispatched daily while following strict adherence to HMRC guidelines, and ensuring that compliance checks are carried out within clear timeframes.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Ensuring site hygiene is maintained to a high standard
Spirit tankers are loaded safely and efficiently
Carry out process isolations and monitoring for internal engineers and external contractors in accordance with SSOW.
Support routine maintenance, remedial work, maintenance of an immediate nature and general duties to ensure reliable and efficient operation of the whole plant
Health and safety compliance is key and you'll be at the forefront of making sure this is supervised and improved, while driving delivery of site targets.
Ultimately, being a source of advice, knowledge, and having the confidence to lead operations is the pinnacle of the day to day ways of working in this exciting role.
About You
