Dataload Specialist

The Data Load Specialist candidate will be responsible for daily monitoring and managing of multiple file processing applications as well as work requests from clients and other Equifax teams.  This role is critical to ensure revenue generating records are loaded and processed successfully for all Workforce Solution applications.
 

What You’ll Do 

The Data Load Specialist candidate will be responsible for daily monitoring and managing of multiple file processing applications as well as work requests from clients and other Equifax teams.  This role is critical to ensure revenue generating records are loaded and processed successfully for all Workforce Solution applications.  

Ensure scheduled data load processes (automated and non-automated) are executed in a timely manner and in accordance with our service level agreements (SLAs)

Resolve any file or data failures from file retrieval, file mapping and renaming to the end of a successful load to the database

Escalate failures or outages of application, server, file share, or database errors.

Participate in system maintenance by stopping production applications and verify successful code changes

Complete client sftp setup and file processing configuration and resolve client set up issues in a timely manner.

Contribute to process improvement efforts of the team

Assist with documenting processes and procedures and ensure existing documentation is revised when processes are modified

Communicate with internal and external customers in a professional, customer-service oriented manner

Regular attendance is an essential function of the job and is required. Monitoring of data load processes is required during normal business hours as well as scheduled on-call after hours

What experience you need:

Bachelor’s degree

2+ years of related experience with dataload and file manipulation

Additional technical experience in the Computer Sciences field or related area

What could set you apart:

You have experience with any or all of the following:

IBM Sterling Software Gateway MFT Software

SQL searches and database updates.

XML language statements

Powershell

Job scheduling tools (i.e. Windows Scheduler, Tidal

Excellent knowledge of Google Cloud Environment

Software knowledge/experience:  Google Workspace products, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Adobe Workfront

Highly attentive to detail

Customer service oriented

Skilled problem solver with ability to analyze information to make an independent decision

Strong organizational and multitasking skills and ability to follow up on outstanding issues and meet deadlines in a high-demand environment

Ability to learn and understand new technologies quickly  

Experience with 

Common forms of electronic data transfer methods (SFTP)

Data encryption methods (PGP, ZIP)

Data communication applications (e.g., Remote Desktop Services)

Google Workspace (formerly G Suite)

Oracle databases

Understanding of networks with multiple domains and firewall openings. 

Adept in working with cross-functional teams maintaining the highest level of integrity, courtesy, respect, and professionalism while interacting with clients, team members, Equifax employees, and business contacts 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
