Job Purpose & Scope Helps maintain Bank OZK’s Server and Storage solutions that support and enable other teams in the Bank OZK Technology organization and across all areas of Bank OZK. Essential Job Functions Assists with resolving technical issues involving hardware deployment & configuration, performance troubleshooting, and other aspects of technology infrastructure operation. Installs, cables, and configures server hardware, storage arrays, and NAS devices. Follows documented installation and troubleshooting procedures. Participates in regular maintenance activities, including software patching, failed hardware replacement, and daily status assessment and remediation. Assists other engineers and administrators on projects. Travels on company business to locations that support server infrastructure and occasionally for training. Responds to issues outside normal business hours, as needed to accomplish work objectives. Ensures compliance with internal/external regulatory policies, procedures, and guidelines. Performs other job duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of information security best practices pertaining to server and workstation administration. Ability to utilize discretion and sound judgment in decision-making. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to manage tasks with exacting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to grasp and learn complex technology skills through working with more senior team members. Ability to demonstrate excellent and effective customer service skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to demonstrate effective organization, critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively and demonstrate flexibility in a continually changing environment. Ability to demonstrate attention to detail. Skill in using Microsoft Windows and/or Linux software. Skill in using OS virtualization. Working knowledge in using Microsoft PowerShell and other scripting tools is helpful. Skill in using computer and Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or commensurate IT work related experience, required. 1+ years of work experience with physical and virtual infrastructures and appliances, required.
