We are looking for a proficient Database/System Administrator to join our team, responsible for managing and maintaining all aspects of Microsoft SQL Server databases and supporting internal web-based applications. The ideal candidate will ensure the reliability and performance of our database systems and work closely with development teams to seamlessly migrate and test code across environments.

Responsibilities:

Support and maintain the health and performance of Microsoft SQL Server databases, ensuring data integrity and security.

Manage database backups, mirroring, log shipping, and other high availability solutions.

Monitor and optimize database performance, implementing clustering and replication strategies as needed.

Maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services and Analysis Services environments.

Develop, support, and maintain SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages.

Document processes and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all database-related activities.

Support various internal web-based applications on platforms including Microsoft Windows Server, IIS, .Net, and WebLogic.

Collaborate with development teams to facilitate code migration and testing across development, testing, and production environments.

Qualifications:

Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration, including backups, mirroring, and log shipping.

Strong understanding of database integrity, clustering, replication, and security protocols.

Proficient in TSQL scripting and capable of creating thorough documentation.

Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services and Analysis Services.

Proven ability to manage Microsoft SQL Server SSIS packages.

Experience in supporting and maintaining web applications on Microsoft Windows Server, IIS, .Net, and WebLogic.

Experience with Azure SQL is a plus.
