We have an exciting opportunity for a Database Administrator Intern to work with our very talented global IT team. If you are working on your master’s degree in computer science, Data analytics or IT you may belong on our team. We are fanatical about our staff and our clients. **Essential functions and Responsibilities** : + Data Scientist and data analytic major preferred + Using SQL to query data + Relational database RDBMS concept. + Understand Kubernetes(K8S) and DevOps concept + Familiar with one major database platform: Oracle/MSSQL/MySQL/PostgreSQL + Monitors database performance, backups, alerts and logs. + Manages turnover of DDL and DML changes into test & production databases. + Manages database storage (table spaces, data files, extents) and I/O distribution. + Sets up and manages: Physical database data structures: tables, indexes, clusters, partitions, etc., + Establish permissions for role-based security **Candidate Profile** + **Bachelor's degree (BA or BS)** + Master’s Degree in Progress is Preferred + Excellent skill on using Microsoft Excel + Passionate about on new technolog **y** No sponsorship is available at this time. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
