Responsibilities:
Designs, installs, monitors, maintains, and performance tunes production databases while ensuring high levels of data availabilityWrites codes for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored proceduresDevelops, implements, and oversees database policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of databases and their accompanying softwareAnalyzes customer requirements and provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problemsApplies knowledge of API (Application Programing Interface) for data services and databasesDesigns, develops, builds, analyzes, evaluates, installs and administers database management systems to include database modeling and design, relational database architecture, metadata and repository creation and configuration managementDesigns and implements databases with respect to access methods, access time, batch processes, device allocation, validation checks, organization, ETL tasks, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methodsPrepares system requirements, source analysis and process analyses and design throughout the database implementationDefines database organizations, standards, controls, procedures, and documentationMay provide technical consulting in the definition, design, and creation of a database environmentMaintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assignedQualifications:
BA/BS or equivalent, 5+ years of experienceActive Top Secret clearance requiredLocation: Customer Site
