Database Administrator / Level 1 / Grand Prairie, TX
**Description:** As a Database Administrator, candidate will perform product support activities within the areas of integrated logistics and supply chain management\. Candidate will maintain item configurations, operating times, and all maintenance activities associated with assigned program\. Candidate must have outstanding communications and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with other functional departments\. Specific responsibilities for the position will include but not be limited to the following: • Performs SAP to OASAS data transfer via a multi stage process\. • Generates, maintains and executes data transfer scripts\. • Implements and executes automated data validation routines to assure accuracy and health of database\. • Supports new production adds to the database • Maintains post production hardware data • Performs user acceptance test tasks • Performs ad hoc database queries as required from multiple resources • Performs OASAS data push from Engineering and Planning side to Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul \(MRO\) • Assures Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul \(MRO\) and Engineering and Planning \(E&P\) remain in synch • Coordinates prioritization of changes requests with program users • Participates in software change planning • Creates proposed changes to software bugs and develops and documents new requirements **Basic Qualifications:** \-Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Information \-Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline\. \-Proficient with Microsoft Office \(PowerPoint, Access, Word, Excel\) \-Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance **Desired Skills:** \-Programming experience such as Python, SQL, C\#\. \-Knowledge of TOAD \(Tool for Oracle Application Developers\) \-Prior Logistics experience \-Prior SAP experience \-Prior experience working contracts \-Knowledge of SQL language \-Ability to build effective working relationships \-Excellent oral and written communication skills **Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\. **Clearance Level:** Secret **Other Important Information You Should Know** **Expression of Interest:** By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\.
