Manage message processing, technical incident handling, service and change requests, as well as problem management and root cause analysis.Perform installation, patching, and upgrade activities for database and system environments.Ensure performance monitoring, tuning, backup and restore, and recovery procedures are effectively executed.Maintain high system availability, including disaster recovery configurations.Provide technical expertise to optimize system operations and architecture.Contribute to the development of tools and concepts to prevent issues and improve operational efficiency.Collaborate with international teams, support global knowledge transfer, and maintain technical documentation.Conduct workshops and training sessions for customers, ensure internal knowledge sharing, and mentor juniors and trainees.Plan, set up, and implement technical migration projects and contribute to continuous improvement in products and processes.

University Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field A degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field; alternatively, relevant IT training or experience as a career changer with strong IT affinity.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of technical aptitude and a customer-focused, solution-oriented approach.Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in database administration and architecture, particularly with Oracle or SAP HANA; additional experience with MS SQL or MySQL is an advantage.Proven experience working in large-scale, 24/7 production environments.Expertise in debugging and analyzing complex database issues.Solid understanding of performance tuning and optimization techniques.Proficiency in programming, especially SQL and Python, as well as strong working knowledge of Linux.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Willingness to participate in weekend and on-call support and to work effectively as part of a globally distributed team.
