We’re seeking a DBA with solid SQL skills and a good understanding of performance tuning and optimization data migrations to join our dynamic, innovative team for a 12 month fixed term contract.

Being responsible for the stability, availability and performance of a highly-available database infrastructure Helping to set up new database environments Troubleshooting and resolving any technical challenges that arise Ensuring systems meet SLA’s Enabling a seamless transition from legacy systems to modern cloud-based environmentsWho You’ll Be:
You’ll be an experienced DBA, with extensive SQL Server experience, and comfortable working as part of a team.

Other useful skills and experience include:
Experience maintaining and troubleshooting Microsoft SQL Server 2019 with along with experience in 2008R2/2012/2014/2016 databases Experience with SQL Server backups, restores, DBCC, corruption and recovery Experience with database monitoring tools, e.g. SolarWinds, Idera and Datadog Proven T-SQL authoring skills Experience with DBA tools, DACPAC, GitHub, Automation and IAC Proven willingness to support with ad-hoc overtime requests Experience maintaining databases with minimal or no downtimeIf this sounds like you, apply now to discover why Optum UK is a great place to work.
