This position will be based in our HQ located in Ashburn, VA.

 

Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain scalable cloud-based database management systems such as MS SQL and MySQL. Assist with database migrations and upgrades in cloud environments and/or on prem. Develop database observability tools and optimize database for performance. Develop and perform database backups and recovery procedures. Implement and maintain database security measures. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues. Implement and maintain database replication at different security levels. Develop and maintain high availability solutions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date database documentation. Collaborate with developers and platform engineers. Provide 24×7 support for critical production systems. Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.
