Implementation and management of security strategies to protect data. User and permissions management. Troubleshooting and optimizing database performance. Development:* Collaboration with development teams in the design of efficient database schemas. Writing and optimizing SQL queries. Implementation of stored procedures and functions. Maintenance:* Implementation and management of backups and recovery strategies. Maintenance of data integrity. Application of software patches and updates. Documentation of processes and configurations. Index Optimization: Index analysis and design to improve query performance. Index implementation and maintenance. Table reindexing to optimize space and performance. Requirements Strong experience in PostgreSQL and SQL Server database administration. Deep knowledge of SQL and database administration tools. Experience in performance optimization and troubleshooting. Understanding of database security concepts. Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively. Deep understanding of index theory and its application in PostgreSQL and SQL Server. Experience creating, managing, and optimizing indexes. Preferred: PostgreSQL or SQL Server certifications. Experience automating tasks using scripts. Knowledge of database monitoring tools.
