Basic Purpose:

 

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Data Validation Specialist position is mainly responsible for the review of client results.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

 

Review of analytical results Review production backlogs Organizing and administering research projects under the direction of the Production Manager Comply with occupational health and safety legislation, BV Group Policies and Procedures, Upstream Minerals Management System Policies and Procedures and ISO standards applicable to the position Act in a safe and professional manner and wear appropriate attire including the required personal protective equipment (PPE) Other duties as assigned or required

 

Skills and Competencies:

 

Data analysis/review experience is an asset Proficient in Microsoft Office software Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in English Attention to details and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines Competent in reviewing analytical procedures and practices Education, certifications, and Experience: Reasoning ability Decision-making Able to work independently and as a part of a team Problem solving Minimum Science Technical Diploma or BSc or equivalent Years of related experience: 2+ years
