Position Summary:
The Data Use & M&E Specialist will support the generation, validation, and use of health data for decision-making across all levels of the health system. This role works closely with national and district stakeholders to improve data quality, promote dashboard use, and support routine M&E reporting aligned with USG priorities.

Reports to: Country Lead or M&E Lead
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct data quality assessments (DQAs), validation workshops, and routine data reviews in collaboration with MoH and partners. Facilitate usability testing for dashboards and collect feedback from end-users to improve design and functionality. Deliver training on data interpretation, triangulation, and visualization for evidence-based planning and program management. Develop key performance indicators and support the design of dashboards and analytics tools to monitor programmatic progress. Support timely submission of M&E reports, success stories, and learning products in line with USG guidelines. Analyze system-generated data to identify trends, anomalies, and programmatic implications. Collaborate with stakeholders to foster a data use culture and build local capacity in monitoring and evaluation.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in public health, statistics, data science, or related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in M&E, data analytics, or health information systems. Experience with DHIS2, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Strong training, facilitation, and communication skills.
