The Data Translator supports key data initiatives and external submissions by connecting business goals to operational processes. This role helps define requirements for data projects and translate metric logic for non-technical audiences.  The Data Translator contributes to internal and external reporting efforts, coordinates internal benchmarks, assists with metric documentation, and ensures timely completion of submission-related tasks across quality programs and partnerships.  The data translator is organized, and a strong communicator.

 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

 

Data Project Management

Coordinate timelines and deliverables for external submissionsFollow up with stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met

Documentation

Document mapping logic, metric definitions, and business decisions in a clear, structured format.

Manage Relationships

Maintain effective working relationships with business stakeholders and external partners.

Manage Intake & Prioritization

Support intake, tracking, and prioritization of reporting request and external partnerships.

Investigates Data Discrepancies

Works with technical resources to catch and address data discrepancies across key reporting content

Minimum Qualifications:

 

Education & Experience:

Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience, or Associates degree and 4 years of experience, or 6 years of related experience in lieu of a degree. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
