The Role
We are looking for a Data Developer that will develop and update our Solera Databases with all necessary information coming from Automotive Manufacturers.
What You’ll Do
Development and uploading of Automotive manufacturers in Solera databases for damage valuation purposes covering cars, motorcycles and industrial vehicles.
Coding of vehicle parts according to models and versions in the corresponding countries, including manufacturer part numbers and prices.
Calculation and coding of repair times in mechanics, electricity, body and paint, as well as disassembly and assembly of parts.
Coding of model options equipment and vehicle identification numbers.
Preparation of technical vehicle notes for internal and external documentation.
To produce the quantity of data files at the quality agreed periodically
To improve the quality of the data files in line with company targets
To collaborate actively with the Data Development Team
Resolution of incidents related to the content of the database.
Management of documentation, manufacturers news and keeping up to date
What You’ll Bring
Advanced Vocational Training - Higher Technician in Automotive or similar.
We would like at least six months' experience in the workshop, mechanical, bodywork, after-sales, “ITV”, spare parts shop or vehicles damage assessor.
We would also consider Vocational Education and Training in Automotive depending on experience.
Basic office computer skills (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
Desirable:
Experience in the use/handling EPCs (Parts Catalogs), Tariff Labor rates and Automobile Manuals will be valued.
Medium level of English.
Knowledge of German language
