Data & Systems Lead Remote £40,000 to £50,000 per annum Permanent

I am currently recruiting for a Data and Systems Lead to join a forward-thinking organisation on a remote basis. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on nurturing robust data environments, particularly within Snowflake, and enjoys the challenge of managing data flows across multiple systems.

Data & Systems Lead – What will you be doing?

• Overseeing the maintenance and optimisation of the Snowflake environment, ensuring seamless operation across all business units.
• Responding promptly to ad hoc requests for ETL, delivering accurate datasets as required by stakeholders.
• Collaborating closely with teams to integrate data from a wide variety of systems, including those associated with newly acquired providers.
• Monitoring data quality and integrity across multiple sources, proactively identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
• Work with SQL to manage complex queries, streamline workflows, and ensure efficient access to critical information.
• Contributing to contract management processes by ensuring smooth data integration with external partners using platforms like Dynamics.

Data & Systems Lead – What will you need?

• Experience managing Snowflake environments.
• Proficiency in designing and executing ETL processes.
• Strong SQL skills for writing complex queries, optimising database performance, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Excellent communication abilities are vital for translating technical concepts into clear recommendations for colleagues at all levels.
• Familiarity with integrating data from systems such as Dynamics or similar platforms is beneficial for managing provider contracts.
• The ability to adapt quickly when priorities shift or new challenges emerge ensures continued success in this dynamic environment.
