Join our team as Data Steward Specialist to focuses on safeguarding data quality, security, governance, and lifecycle management, while ensuring strategic alignment and user engagement through training, support, and clear communication. This role is responsible for Data Quality and Integrity, Data Security, Data Governance, Communication and Collaboration with other data or IS teams, Data Administration as well as user training and support.

What you will do:

Implement and maintain the integrity, quality, completeness, and security of data managed by the Data Office. Any deviation must be reported and managed using established controls.Monitor data quality by identifying root-cause errors and correcting them in collaboration with source data owners (heavy users or stakeholders). Work directly with IS/IT to resolve deviations.Develop and implement data governance, policies, and procedures, including user access controls and permissions, while ensuring regulatory compliance. Apply data retention policies and establish quality metrics, rules, and standards.Maintain data security by collaborating with IT/IS and security teams to implement and sustain protective measures for NRFM’s data.Develop and maintain metadata repositories and data dictionaries, providing context, compliance metrics, and collaborating with IS/IT and heavy users to keep them updated and complete.Support data integration initiatives by ensuring consistency across source systems.Ensure proper data storage, implement data lineage tools, and understand database structure and content to detect model or quality deviations. Support user access.Communicate and collaborate on all matters related to data strategy, including informing users about policies and procedures.Categorize data (confidential, private, internal, sensitive, etc.) to ensure proper access and control.Train users in best practices, tools, and procedures for proper data usage.Serve as the point of contact for all questions or issues related to data.

What you need:

At least 2-3 years of experience in data field.Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science with a specialization in Data Management, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or Business Administration with a focus on Data Management.English Level: Upper Intermediate (conversational)Experience in Data Governance & Compliance, with in-depth knowledge of the data lifecycle, including how data flows across various sources and how to transform it for monetization.Experience with data integration and data modeling in Snowflake, as well as Information Management models (SGI).Proficient in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI, and in data analytics tools such as SQL, Python, and R.
