Data Steward

The Data Steward is responsible for the product, identifying roles and responsibilities, stewarding the governance process, and ensuring quality data is entered promptly. This position is committed to working and collaborating with operations, sales, and newly acquired companies to integrate legacy data into common application platforms to unlock the inherent value of data for Lineage.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for problem solving data-related issues and communicating resolutions with other solution domains within established SLAs.Addresses complex requests, identify new requirements, and develop stewardship process for changes from various business groups.Responsible for assigning and coordinating day-to-day work for offshore team members and reporting progress/updates to management at regular intervals.Responsible for the successful completion of project work relating to MDM-owned/stewarded processes.Participates in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for various system releases as needed.Investigating, managing, and resolving data exception issues between applications (Workday, Lineage Link, and others)Assist with Data Management functions across multiple teams.Ensures all required attributes are captured and entered on new data requests in a common platform.Investigate and identify potential affiliations between related customer parties.Consolidation and elimination of duplicate records for newly acquired entities by Lineage.Responsible for the maintenance of an enterprise data dictionary for the data domains that are supported.Maintains Data Quality Assurance.Provide ad-hoc assistance to various team members.Ensure proper data governance processes are followed for all group's data domains.


QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES):

Demonstrated Initiative, detail-oriented and highly organized.Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Excel - the ability to create and edit pivot tables, experience in using 'vlookup' and 'if' statements.Experience working in SFDC and/or Workday software platforms.Must be able to work independently and have excellent communication and writing skills.Ability to organize and analyze data requests from multiple data sources.Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and transition between assignments quickly.Strong teamwork and collaboration focus by communicating well, actively listening, and being responsible, accountable, and honest.
