We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as a Data Solutions Architect About the role: WWe are seeking an experienced Architect with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python and Databricks SQL and will work in a hybrid model with day shifts. Responsibilities: + Lead the design and implementation of data architecture solutions using Python and Databricks SQL + Oversee the development of scalable data pipelines and ensure data quality and integrity + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions + Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture and processes + Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies + Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for performance and cost-efficiency + Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards + Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner + Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our data architecture + Participate in project planning and provide accurate time estimates for development tasks + Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables Qualifications: + Possess strong proficiency in Python with a proven track record of developing data solutions + Demonstrate expertise in Databricks SQL and its application in data architecture + Have a solid understanding of data governance and security best practices + Show experience in optimizing data storage and retrieval processes + Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues + Display strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams + Hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field + Have experience with cloud platforms and data integration tools + Show a commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends + Demonstrate the ability to mentor and guide junior team members + Possess strong documentation skills and attention to detail + Exhibit the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously Why Cognizant?
