Group Details

Tradeweb Technology jobs are fully remote. The Tradeweb Technology hub is located in our Jersey City office which can be used for team meetings and collaboration efforts. There may be days where travel to the Jersey City office is recommended for organizational off-sites.

Job Responsibilities

Design and implement data security principles, policies, standards, and procedures to support the adoption of an enterprise-wide data security requirements framework. Conduct comprehensive data security architecture reviews to identify control gaps; collaborate with technology, business, and partner teams to drive effective remediation. Serve as the Data Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) and advocate across new and existing technology and business initiatives. Promote consistent adoption and implementation of data security controls across structured and unstructured data. Define and enforce standards and best practices for internal and external data sharing in alignment with regulatory and organizational requirements. Develop a data security standards framework tailored for emerging technologies, including AI systems and applications. Provide ongoing support to enterprise-wide AI security initiatives and collaborate on integration strategies. Establish and lead data security governance processes to align stakeholders and ensure accountability. Act as a trusted advisor and escalation point for any data security-related incidents or inquiries. Support incident response by providing expertise on data breach containment and forensics. Interpret and translate applicable regulatory and compliance obligations into actionable and scalable technical solutions. Produce and present meaningful security metrics, dashboards, and reports for executive and senior leadership to inform decision-making.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with at least 5 years in a data security engineer/ architecture role. Extensive experience in implementing encryption standards, data masking and tokenization. Extensive experience in managing security of large data lake, datawarehouse, databases and data services. Strong knowledge of DLP, IAM, and Security architecture. Strong knowledge of data privacy laws and industry standards (e.g., NIST, CIS, PII). Experience with architectural modeling tools and frameworks. Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or any data security relevant certifications Proven ability to communicate complex security topics to business and technical stakeholders.
