Robert Half, Inc. seeks Data Scientist II in San Ramon, CA:

Job Duties: Lead advanced data analytics projects, leveraging Azure and Microsoft data services. Develop and implement advanced predictive models and statistical analysis using a variety of machine learning algorithms. Suggest algorithms or models appropriate for specific use cases and applications. Analyze and extract relevant information from large amounts of historical business data to help automate and optimize key processes with business teams. Apply technical solutions to business problems and questions using large-scale data analytics and machine learning. Work closely with software engineering teams to drive real-time model experiments, implementations, and new feature creations. Continuously evaluate and refine models based on performance metrics. Enhance and evolve the performance of large language models by refining their capabilities through targeted fine-tuning. Formulate and enact algorithms for model enhancement, tweak critical hyperparameters, and heighten overall model efficiency. Guarantee the integrity and relevance of datasets by conducting thorough preprocessing and data analysis within the fine-tuning workflow. Conduct assessments on fine-tuned models and make necessary modifications to boost their effectiveness. Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams in an enterprise setting to integrate data science solutions into the broader tech stack and data strategy. Work closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions. Translate complex data-driven findings into actionable business insights and communicate these effectively to non-technical stakeholders. Telecommuting permitted: work may be performed from anywhere in the U.S.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a closely related field plus three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Special Skill Requirements: 

Data Analysis and ETL using SQL (3 years).Data Analysis and modeling using Python and Python packages (3 years).Design and analysis of A/B Testing experiments (3 years).Build reports and Dashboard using Business Intelligence tools like Mode or Tableau (3 years).Data driven decision making using advanced Statistical Analysis (3 years).Project Management Skills like design, development, tracking, and implementation of solutions (3 years).Use of predictive modelling to solve business problems (2 years).Building impactful Machine Learning solutions (2 years).

Salary: $164,403 - $195,000 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
