Required Qualifications

4+ years of relevant work experience in data analysis or related field. (e.g., as a statistician / data scientist / scientific researcher) Fundamental knowledge in fields such as statistics, machine learning, deep learning. 4+ years of practical experience developing, deploying production machine learning applications such as supervised learning, unsupervised learning. 4+ years of programing skills in Python. Interest in researching cutting-edge methods in AI, particularly reinforcement learning and federated machine learning.

Job Specific Qualifications

Analysis Expertise in Deep Reinforcement Learning Experience with Neural Networks, including CNNs Experience applying scientific methodologies to parameter and model tuning Experience working with data driven Python with modules such as TensorFlow, Keras, NumPy, SciPi, Pandas, Matplotlib, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn Familiarity with CUDA framework and GPU training / inference Experience with version control tools, such as Git Problem Solving Solves complex problems with hypothesis-driven data science Understanding of data ingestion and transformation Capable of running multiple scenarios and pick up the optimal solution Capable of understanding advanced mathematical or physical explanations, to implement or execute the requested tasks. (e.g., Fourier Transform, Power Spectral Density, Monte Carlo simulation, etc.) Team & Business Skills  Work in collaboration with data science team and mentors junior scientists Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a diverse team Consistently improves communication skills, both verbally and in written materials Demonstrated creativity in problem solving Demonstrated leadership and self-direction; demonstrated willingness to both teach others and learn new techniques Flexibility in task switching. For instance, when there are urgent requests or change of projects, can accommodate the changes without protesting Mindful of iterations and quality check in a smaller team, before presenting results to larger audience Raises critical issues when detected
