ROLE OVERVIEW 

As a Data Scientist you will apply advanced data science techniques to analyze data, build diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions, generate valuable insights from data and effectively leverage novel technologies to automate data science workflows. This role involves working with both structured and unstructured data - utilizing specialized programming languages and tools to drive effective decision-making and create business value. If you are selected, you can really make a difference to our business by inventing, enhancing and building new systems, delivering results and working on exciting and challenging projects. 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?  

Master's degree in: Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or a related field. 

3+ years of experience in data science or related role. 

Proficient in at least one of the following languages: Python, R, SAS or Julia. 

Experience with big data technologies such as Sparks and a good grasp of machine learning framework such as TensorFlow or Pytorch. 

Experience with data manipulation libraries such as Pandas, NumPy and Scikit-learn. 

Experience with visualization tools to present findings such as Matplotlib, Seaborn or Plotly. 

Knowledge of Natural Language Processing Techniques (NLP). 

Good grasp of GIT  

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). 

Proven success in communicating with users, technical teams and senior management to collect requirements and translate technical complexities into business-friendly language. 

Experience working directly with remote technical teams. 

HOW CAN YOU MAKE HISTORY WITH US?  

Lead end-to-end analytics projects - from gathering business requirements and validating hypotheses to delivering outputs, visualizing data, and generating actionable insights that drive value. 

Implement mechanisms to ensure data completeness, accuracy, and consistency across all data sources and processes. 

Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models (using tools such as SageMaker), ensuring they meet business needs and performance standards. Additionally, you will develop and select features to improve model accuracy and performance. 

Use data mining, and statistical techniques to analyze customer data to identify trends, behaviors, and preferences 

Provide insights to improve customer experience and retention. 

Maintain thorough documentation of data science processes, models, and experiments to ensure reproducibility and knowledge sharing. 

Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions and initiatives while also identifying opportunities for process optimization and automation, striving for CI/CD in data management practices. 

Anticipate and resolve potential data issues before they escalate, demonstrating a proactive approach to data.
