Experience in Analytics industry Working experience of statistical techniques (like linear regression, logistic regression, time series analysis, clustering, and decision trees) and advanced techniques like SVM, GBM and NLP Proficient in tools such as SAS/R/Python, Microsoft Office Excel/Access/PowerPoint Acquire understanding of US healthcare Domain Professional, service oriented, proactive and flexible Proven excellent interpersonal and team skills Proven excellent written and oral communication skills Proven excellent problem solving abilities Proven ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating good level of maturity Proven ability to handle and summarize large data sets using SQL or Hive-SQL Proven ability to engage in client communications for all important functions including data understanding/exploration, strategizing solutions etc. Proven ability to leverage Optum, part of the UnitedHealth Group family of businesses, big data analytics infrastructure comprising Hadoop, Revolution R, Visual SAS and SAS Fraud framework to solve complex business problems in Healthcare Domain
