Chubb's Global Analytics Team is seeking a proactive Data Scientist with exceptional analytical skills to join our vibrant and fast-paced environment, dedicated to driving innovative solutions.
As a Data Scientist, you will develop solutions to complex business problems which combine industry standard practices with innovation. The ideal candidate will conduct data analysis to uncover insights and trends. They will build and optimize machine learning models to enhance data-driven decision-making. Additionally, the role involves implementing, evaluating model performance, and making recommendations for improvements.
Major Responsibilities:
Must Have:
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field. At least 1-2 years of experience in data analytics and developing machine learning and deep learning-based solutions with significant expertise in writing code in Python. Solid understanding of machine learning models, including but not limited to ensemble learning, deep learning, and foundational algorithms. Proficient in ML and DL frameworks and libraries (e.g., PyTorch, Sci-kit Learn, etc) and their implementation. Proficiency in conducting data analysis such as handling complex and incomplete datasets Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and analysis. Excellent problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to approach complex challenges with creativity, critical thinking, and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
