Our Team
At Bloomberg, data is at the heart of everything we do — from powering the Bloomberg Terminal to delivering analytics, news, and enterprise solutions to the global financial ecosystem. While data risk management is certainly not new, this new role within our Chief Risk Office (CRO) offers the opportunity to shape the way Bloomberg continues to enhance its data governance practices and manages data risk at scale, influencing how the company adapts to a world increasingly focused on responsible data usage.

Build out data risk dashboards, metrics, and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to provide visibility to management, relevant committees, and control functions.
You’ll need to have: 8-10 years of experience in data risk and/or data governance, or related areas, ideally in fintech, financial services, or another data-intensive tech environment Demonstrated strategic thinking with a deep understanding of data as both a business asset and a risk vector. Ability to translate complex data risks into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders. Proven experience building partnerships across engineering, risk, legal, and product teams. Comfortable working in an agile, fast-paced environment. In-depth understanding of data risk, quality, privacy, and governance frameworks. Experience collaborating across complex, matrixed organizations with strong executive presence. Proficiency in risk assessment, control design, and audit readiness. Excellent project management and process improvement skills.
We’d love to see: Familiarity with AI model governance, third-party data risk, cloud data security, and methodology management. Certifications such as CRISC, CIPP, CDMP, or CISA. A proactive and self-motivated attitude Salary Range = 185000 - 245000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus
