How you will create impact
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Quality Manager - GenAI to support a strategic data quality initiative, embedded within a development team. This role is central to ensuring that the data we source, transform, and produce aligns with defined business rules and quality expectations. The ideal candidate loves working in spreadsheets, finds patterns in data, and is comfortable digging through column-level details.
Why this role matters
Data quality issues have historically led to delays, low user trust, and increased costs. This role is critical in proactively identifying and preventing those issues, ensuring smoother deployments and better outcomes for both the development team and end users.
How you will create an impact
As part of the Data Management and Governance team, the Data Quality Manager is responsible for:
+ Provide on-site leadership and mentorship for the Data Quality team in Atlanta, offering regular feedback and creating management-level reporting on quality metrics.
+ Oversee the work of Data Quality Analysts to ensure consistent practice and alignment with the broader DQ strategy.
+ Establish data quality test plans; work closely with development and data quality teams to define, refine, and validate data rules.
+ Collaborate with Global Data Warehouse (GDW) and AI product teams to drive data quality initiatives.
+ Work closely with the Data Governance team on behalf of Product Owners to ensure compliance with the Global Data Management standard.
+ Support the Issue Management and Remediation (IMR) lead in facilitating the resolution of complex data quality issues across all data sourcing patterns.
+ Contribute to long-term efforts in improving data quality and integrity across systems.
+ Provide hands-on support for in-depth data quality analysis and profiling as required.
What you’ll need to succeed
Requirements for the Data Quality Analyst role include:
+ Extensive proven experience working with large, complex datasets in platforms such as Snowflake, Foundry, and Microsoft Excel.
+ Demonstrated experience in a data quality, data governance, or senior data analyst role.
+ Strong experience establishing data quality frameworks, defining business rules, and validating data.
+ Proven ability to lead initiatives, oversee technical work, and mentor junior team members.
+ Excellent analytical mindset with an exceptional attention to detail.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers, product owners, and business leaders.
Preferred Traits include:
+ A self-starter who enjoys solving complex data puzzles and finding the "why" behind data inconsistencies.
+ Strategic thinker with an interest in making a significant, long-term impact on data integrity.
+ Comfortable working cross-functionally to influence and drive outcomes.
+ Capable of ramping up quickly on new systems, technologies, and business domains.
