Position Overview:

ENGIE SA is seeking a Data Protection Project Manager based in Romania. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and French, possess formal training in personal data protection, and have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.

This role involves remote work from Romania with access to ENGIE's IS System and a few travels to Paris.

Context and Objectives of the Mission:

Since the GDPR came into effect on May 25, 2018, it has introduced new obligations for Data Controllers, the most important one being for ENGIE SA to be able to demonstrate compliance to the French data protection authority (CNIL).

In this regulatory context, the Provider shall support ENGIE Group's Privacy Department to achieve this objective.

Provider's Role:

The Provider's professional team, will have expertise in project management, risk management and data protection with other large European companies and will assist the Group Privacy Department in its activities.

Key Responsibilities (French & English):Onboard new Privacy Correspondents or ManagersEnsure a permanent contact with the Privacy Correspondents of ENGIE SA (in French)Ensure compliance of data processing, including RFPs, clause negotiations, Privacy by Design, Data Protection Impact Assessments, factsheets, privacy notices, etc.Maintain records of processing activitiesPublish documents in the Privacy SharePoint, Yammer, etc.Present topics in Privacy Committees (quarterly) and PROCOMs (biweekly).Conduct training sessions (Basics of Privacy, Privacy by Design, Data Breach Management, BCR, and M&A)
