In this role, you will:

Develop and document Data Protection (backup) strategies and architectures.Design, implement, and manage Data Protection (backup) solution for Veritas NetBackup and Commvault backup and recovery systemsManage, configuration and implementation skills in Veritas NetBackup and Commvault platform.Ensure that all storage and backup systems are compliant with industry standards and regulationsPlan and implement backup and recovery solutions, ensuring data protection and disaster recovery capabilities.Provide engineering support on the bank’s data protection products and their standard usage.Undertake product evaluation, new features, and versions.Recommend appropriate technologies and solutions based on business needs and technical requirementsManage data lifecycle, including archiving, deletion, and retention policies.Ensure data integrity and security through proper storage and backup configurationsMentor less experienced members of staff
