**About the Role:**
As a CBRE **Data Privacy Consultant** , you will be responsible for sustaining and improving practices for CBRE’s global privacy program. Activities include: assisting in drafting and maintaining privacy compliance program documentation, assisting with privacy risk assessments including Data Protection Impact Assessments, compiling and organizing program artifacts, and other tasks associated with the continuous improvement and maintenance of the global privacy program.
This job is a member of CBRE’s Global Data Privacy Office, which is part of CBRE’s compliance function. This role directly reports to Sr. Legal Director – Global Data Privacy Office (APAC) with a dotted line to the Data Trust Operations Director.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Assist with building and maturing CBRE’s global data privacy program.
+ Complete tasks as assigned and agreed by direct and dotted line manager, including: assisting in drafting and maintaining privacy compliance program documentation, assisting with privacy risk assessments including Data Protection Impact Assessments, compiling and organizing program artifacts, and other tasks associated with the maintenance of the global privacy program.
+ Cross train on other program activities including management of data subject requests and mailbox maintenance.
+ Participate in program management processes, including milestone and progress reporting.
+ Create routine and ad hoc reports, including status reports and complex data for accuracy prior to distribution.
+ Ensure all tasks remain on schedule and resolve escalated issues.
+ Provide an appropriate level of detail and summarize difficult issues.

+ Conduct regular meetings to review project status and ensure that responsible team members meet project milestones within project timelines.
+ Partner with the team to implement processes and tools to support the integration of privacy policies, identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
+ Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
+ Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence).
+ Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
+ Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
+ As part of upskilling, you may be asked to assist the other members of the Global Data Privacy Office on other program and/or administrative matters.
**What You’ll Need** :
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with at least 6-8 years of relevant experience.
+ Legal, paralegal and/or compliance experience preferred.
+ Exposure to project management methodologies and tools helpful.
+ Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
+ Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Willing to learn new technologies and tools to assist in the performance of your work.
+ Demonstrable strong project management, organizational and time management skills with an inquisitive mindset.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and strong interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to assist with creating, collecting, and presenting on process metrics.
+ Ability to work on own initiative and with limited oversight, as well as in a collaborative environment.
+ Be able to work flexibly to accommodate other time zones when necessary.
+ Accurate and exceptional attentional to detail.
