Your Role and Responsibilities

You will contribute to the development and implementation of pricing strategies, to maximize profit and market share, while ensuring customer satisfaction with ABB. You will follow a robust pricing infrastructure and pricing policies to deliver measurable results.

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:

Developing and managing price analytics tools, ensuring robust methodologies for data extraction, combination, and analysis from diverse sources to support strategic decision-making

Owning the design and governance of pricing interfaces, creating user-friendly tools that streamline workflows and improve cross-functional usability

Establishing and maintaining automated solutions for price guidance, including price corridors and Table of Authority (TOA), aimed at enhancing pricing operational efficiency

Supporting country teams in implementing pricing tools, enabling consistent monitoring of product and switchgear pricing and guiding control processes to help reach Net Present Value (NPV) and EndToEnd margin targets

Managing pricing platforms and access rights, maintaining SharePoint environments, ensuring optimal data quality, and upholding governance for user access and security

Qualifications for the Role

Master’s Degree in Operations Research, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, or another data-driven quantitative discipline

Solid analytical background, with knowledge of statistical and quantitative analysis, microeconomics, and pricing concepts

Basic competence in mathematical modeling and optimization, with ability to apply these foundations to decision-making

Experience with digital and Business Intelligence tools, such as Power BI and/or Tableau; strong command of MS Excel

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in local language and English; proactive attitude and strong team orientation
