Coordinate and manage the release cycle of data platform updates and new featuresCreate and maintain release schedules and deployment plansOversee version control and documentation of all releasesCollaborate with development, QA, and operations teamsMonitor and report on release metrics and KPIsImplement and maintain release management best practicesManage risk assessment for releasesCoordinate emergency fixes and patches when needed
We are looking for someone with…5+ years of experience in release management or similar roleFamiliarity with agile methodologiesStrong problem-solving and communication skillsStrong understanding of data platforms and infrastructureExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesKnowledge of version control systems (e.g., Github and Gitlab, including Git Bash)General good understanding of Azure Cloud tech stack (Azure Portal, Logic Apps, Synapse, Blob Containers, Kafka, Clusters and Streaming),Reading YAML code for Azure DevOps pipeline and error handlingVery good programming skills in SQL (esp. DDL and DML statements)
