Data Manager – Occupational Health and Safety Office

This role involves managing and harmonizing data systems, supporting safety program operations, and ensuring compliance with federal health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Cority or similar occupational health and safety systems, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities Manage backend data operations in Cority, including coding and system configuration. Perform data migration and integration across Cority, TRACI, and Power BI platforms. Develop and maintain dashboards, workflows, and business rules to support safety inspections, incident investigations, and contractor safety programs. Compile and submit data for annual OSHA reporting. Conduct quality checks and implement data controls within Cority. Provide user training and support for new processes and system features. Attend meetings with internal and external stakeholders; document and follow up on action items. Analyze data issues and recommend solutions. Support project coordination and documentation for OHSO and OSSAM initiatives. Prepare and deliver presentations to leadership and partners. Submit weekly task reports, monthly summaries, and meeting minutes as required. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s or master’s degree in related field Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Cority or similar occupational safety systems (e.g., DOEHRS) Strong knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental program support. Demonstrated experience managing and manipulating large datasets and relational databases. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Power BI. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working with CDC systems and procedures. Familiarity with federal health and safety regulations (e.g., OSH Act, 29 C.F.R Part 1960). Experience coordinating across multiple departments and stakeholders. Knowledge of Section 508 compliance and accessibility standards.
