Job Summary:
As a Data Management Associate within the Data Retention and Destruction Team, you will collaborate with cross-functional partners to implement and govern data risk management policies across the line of business. You will work closely with the Retention and Destruction team, Sub-Lines of Business, and various stakeholders to ensure sustainable compliance with firm-wide data retention and destruction standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate and execute records management projects, including ARM applications, shared drives, SharePoint, and KYR programs. Develop and implement sustainable processes for records remediation and data retention and destruction management. Build expertise in firmwide records management requirements, tools, and record types. Design metrics, reports, and presentations to communicate project status and control effectiveness. Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and serve as a point of escalation for issue resolution. Monitor and assess records management risks and key indicators. Facilitate the rollout and improvement of governance processes and provide the Chief Data Office oversight across Consumer and Community Banking. Collaborate with Controls Management and business partners to ensure a robust control environment.Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
Minimum of 5 years' experience managing complex programs with diverse, matrixed teams. Background in Records Management, including familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements throughout the data lifecycle. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to tailor messages for different audiences. Strong organizational and prioritization skills, demonstrating flexibility in a rapidly changing environment. Proven ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively across teams. Strategic problem-solver with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Proven experience with documenting process flows and governance procedures.Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
Advanced Degree in Data Governance, Information Management, or a related field. Background in Data Management, Data Governance, or a control function.
