Data & Integration Engineer
**Overview** We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented **Data & Integration Engineer** to support our cloud-based data and automation initiatives. This position is ideal for candidates with foundational experience in **Azure Logic Apps** , **Azure Synapse Analytics** , and some exposure to **Python scripting** . This position will work alongside senior engineers to develop, maintain, and troubleshoot scalable data workflows and integrations that support our business operations and analytics objectives. Come join our journey! **Responsibilities** **Technical Development & Execution (70%)** + Assist in designing and building **automated workflows** using **Azure Logic Apps** to streamline business processes. + Support data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration using **Azure Synapse pipelines** . + Write and maintain **Python scripts** for data manipulation, integration, and automation. + Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and integration workflows. + Create and maintain technical documentation to support maintainability and team knowledge sharing. + Evaluate alternative technical approaches and recommend optimal solutions. + Work across technical and non-technical teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. + Thrive in a **fast-paced, dynamic environment** with strong organizational and decision-making skills. **Collaboration & Solutioning (30%)** + Work closely with internal teams to support day-to-day application operations across cloud environments. + Collaborate with technical leads on troubleshooting, new design discussions, and solutioning. + Ensure smooth integration and data flow across enterprise applications. + Understand transactional data requirements and ensure systems meet those needs. + Demonstrate strong **problem-solving** **,** communication, and teamwork capabilities. **Qualifications** **Education & Experience** + Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Data Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). + 2–4 years of experience in **data architecture components** : integration, data management, and data consumption. + Hands-on experience with **Azure Logic Apps** and cloud integration concepts. + Familiarity with **Azure Synapse Analytics** and cloud-based data platforms. + Exposure to **Python scripting** for automation and data handling. + Basic knowledge of CI/CD practices using **Azure DevOps** or **GitHub Actions** **.** + Eagerness to learn new tools and adopt industry best practices **Preferred Qualifications** + 2–4 years of **Agile development** experience a plus + Experience with **Azure Databricks** is a plus. + Microsoft Certified: **Azure Data Engineer Associate** is a plus. **Core Competencies** **:** **Key desired behaviors, e.g., problem solving, innovation, collaboration, etc.** + Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset. + Familiarity with batch and real-time data processing. + Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. + Agile and adaptable to frequent changes in priorities and requirements. + Strong collaboration skills in team-oriented environments. + Ability to support organizational and process change in complex enterprise environments. + Ability to grasp technical system processing and data flow quickly. + Sound decision-making skills based on available information **Communications** **:** **Key communications contacts (internal/external) and level of persuasion required** + Capable of creating and executing communication plans with cross-functional stakeholders. + Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with technical and non-technical audiences. **Other Requirements** **:** **e.g., working conditions, physical requirements, travel, etc.** + Travel Requirement: **10% travel** to various locations in North America to meet with IT team or onsite for project execution. During large scale projects, the percentage could fluctuate. Adherence to corporate travel and entertainment policy is required. + Position is **Hybrid** : 3 days in office, 2 days remote.
