The Data Governance Technology Lead is a senior-level position responsible for data governance implementation of Data Domains, activities to include identifying and documenting data lineage, critical data elements, authoritative data sources, data quality rules, and investigating any data-related issues.  The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of attribute-level data lineage, critical data element decomposition, application performance and other measures to gain insight and drive data governance planning and data remediation.

Responsibilities:

Develop creative technical solutions to meet business needs and manage complex, high-volume data governance implementation efforts in partnership with business partners and stakeholdersManage complex application and critical data element-level lineage across geographies and products for Citi Transaction ServicesContribute to formulation of strategies/processes to implement Data Domain and Governance policies, identify and register Critical Data Element and Authorized Data Sources, Authorized Data Sources adoptionResponsible for data quality validation and remediation from root cause analysis through remediation planning and providing input to business and Technology based on analysis of informationDevelop communication to guide, influence and convince others, including colleagues in other areas and external customersProvide advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business and filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex material from multiple sourcesIndividual contributor who will support team as mentor to new or lower-level analysts and work as a team to achieve business objectives, performing other duties and functions as assignedAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

6-10 years of relevant experienceTechnical experience to include intermediate/advanced SQL skills;  Python, Java,  Visual Studio, Ab Initio, Data Lineage capture tools (i.e.:  IBM Manta, Ab Initio mHub), or other development languages helpfulDemonstrated expertise in presenting and using planning toolsProven diplomatic and analytical skillsProven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quicklyProven ability to manage complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact by weighing various action plans and balancing potentially conflicting needsWorking knowledge of project management techniques/methodsExperience in systems analysis helpful

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$113,840.00 - $170,760.00
