As a Data Governance Manager - Finance here at\nHoneywell, you will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining data\ngovernance policies and procedures to ensure master data accuracy, integrity,\nand security within the finance function. You will work with cross-functional\nteams to develop and implement data governance strategies, standards, and\ncontrols to facilitate financial operations and decision-making. Your expertise\nin data governance will be instrumental in optimizing financial processes,\nenhancing data quality, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will report directly to the Finance Data Governance Sr Director,\nand you will work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will be accountable for driving data\ngovernance initiatives that will impact the financial integrity and operational\nefficiency of Honeywell. Your work will involve establishing data quality\nstandards, implementing data validation processes, and ensuring that finance master\ndata is accurate, secure, and compliant. As a key member of the finance team,\nyou will play a critical role in shaping the master data governance framework\nthat facilitates our financial objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 End to end process ownership of FDG initiatives, including data governance, data quality and data standardsProvide customer support to global, cross-functional Honeywell teams for the FDG process, EHM application (Enterprise Hierarchy Management) and other Finance initiativesReview our processes and work with IT teams to implement improvements and automationFacilitate finance system implementations and upgrades by ensuring data governance considerations are integrated into system design and configuration.

YOU MUST HAVE

Minimum of 6 years of experience in Accounting or Finance Roles. Experience in data governance, data management, or related roles is a plus.Experience with Data Management and Data Governance ProcessesExcellent communication skills and stakeholder management skillsProject Management experience on Enterprise-wide projects

WE VALUE

 Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications in data governance or data management are a plus.Experience in finance systems management, financial reporting, or financial decision-makingProficiency in data governance tools, data quality tools, and data management best practices (Oracle EDMC a plus)Strong problem-solving and time management skillsAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex data governance concepts to non-technical stakeholders
