Data Governance Manager Job ID 221946 Posted 04-Jun-2025 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Data & Analytics Location(s) Warsaw - Mazowieckie - Poland **The Data Governance Manager will play a pivotal role within the CBRE Account team, working under the functional direction of the Account Technology Director and in close collaboration with the Account BI Lead. This position is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data governance roadmap, which includes establishing data quality frameworks, collaborating with various stakeholders, and promoting best practices to enhance data management capabilities across the organization.** **What You Will Do:** • Lead the assessment of current data governance practices and the delivery of work within real estate systems. • Collaborate with subject matter experts to replicate and enhance existing data governance structures, while identifying gaps and adopting best practices. • Serve as the primary liaison with client data strategy teams to ensure the implementation of data governance principles. • Manage and evolve data and reporting functions to ensure global consistency and quality. • Facilitate workshops and gather requirements from key stakeholders for data validation. • Coordinate cross-departmental efforts to ensure successful implementation of data governance initiatives. • Identify improvement opportunities and develop post-go-live stabilization plans. • Validate data sets with a focus on automation and proactive detection of data integrity issues. • Develop metrics to monitor and report on data governance and management progress. • Collaborate with data system owners to enhance data availability, frequency, and accuracy. • Establish data standards, policies, and controls, ensuring compliance across the organization. • Facilitate the development of data stewardship groups to define and maintain critical master data. • Act as a subject matter expert to promote good data practices across various teams. • Provide insights into data standards, validations, and transformations for enhancing data quality. • Perform additional duties as assigned. **What You Will Need:** • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. • 5+ years of relevant experience, including 2 years in a management role. • Experience in commercial real estate management or facilities management is preferred. • Minimum of 2 years in data management roles such as data analysis, governance, and quality management. • Familiarity with reference data management tools (e.g., Ataccama, Collibra) is a plus. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Fluent English in both speaking and writing. • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information effectively. • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, capable of solving advanced problems and developing strategic solutions. • Experience managing cross-functional programs and collaborating with diverse teams. • Knowledge of data quality management and master data management processes. • Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. • Understanding of software development lifecycle principles, including agile methodologies. **What We Offer:** • A remote role **(from Poland)** with a supportive and inclusive work environment that values diversity and teamwork. • Employee recognition programs and a commitment to career progression • Being part of an interesting international client in a dynamic fast-growing company • Private medical care, co-participation in sport card, and facilitation in life insurance.
