We are currently seeking a Data Governance Analyst to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee (US-TN), United States (US).
Job Duties: Overview: NTT DATA is seeking a skilled Data Governance Analyst to join our Data Village team in Nashville. This role involves working on-site and is focused on delivering robust data governance solutions using Collibra. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in capturing requirements, managing stakeholders, designing and developing workflows in Collibra, and presenting complex data concepts effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Capturing Requirements:
• Gather and document detailed requirements from various stakeholders to ensure alignment with data governance objectives.
Managing Stakeholders:
• Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs, address concerns, and ensure successful implementation of data governance initiatives.
Designing and Developing Workflows in Collibra:
• Utilize Collibra to design and develop efficient workflows that support data governance processes and enhance data management capabilities.
Presentation Skills:
• Create and deliver presentations to communicate data governance strategies, progress, and outcomes to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Technical Skills:
• Collibra: Proficiency in using Collibra for data governance tasks, including workflow design and development.
• Python: Basic to intermediate skills in Python programming for data engineering tasks.
• SQL: Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying.
• Cloud Provider Experience: Experience with at least one cloud provider (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in data governance or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience creating and delivering effective presentations to communicate complex data concepts.
• 5+ years of experience working closely with team members and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to new technologies and methodologies efficiently. Data Architecture Practices: Knowledge of data architecture practices including data integration, data security, and data warehousing. Data Management Practices: Experience in metadata management, data lineage management, and data quality monitoring. Soft Skills: Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences, negotiate and influence, and demonstrate creativity and innovation.
Industry Leadership:
• Work with a client that is leading the industry in using data to drive business decision optimization and investment management strategies.
