Responsibilities The Opportunity The Data Governance Data Steward role is responsible for ensuring the business and IT adhere to and maintain alignment to the Enterprise Data Governance's processes, rules and standards. This role requires deep knowledge of the data requirements and business use as well as associated elements and processes involved. This will be achieved through the Data Stewards operating as the single point of contact for those creating and consuming data within their respected data domain(s). Additionally, they will be interacting directly with key domain and project stakeholders, Data Governance Council, other data stewards across the organization and relevant SMEs throughout the organization as necessary. This position reports to the Program Data Governance Lead as part of the Data Governance and Architecture team. Your Impact As Data Gov. & Stewardship Assoc Manager your scope would consist of Data Stewardship & Governance Execute standard global policies for onboarding and sustaining all in-scope data into PepsiCo environments. Conduct data assessments and analysis to evaluate data completeness, quality, and fitness for purpose. Design and implement data quality (DQ) rules and actively monitor data quality metrics. Identify, classify, and maintain a catalog of critical data elements across data domains. Perform data privacy assessments for new data sources in compliance with corporate and regulatory standards. Lead root cause analysis for data quality issues; define and oversee remediation plans through to execution at the source. Collaborate with external data vendors to ensure onboarding processes align with PepsiCo’s standardized procedures. Promote data accuracy, integrity, and adherence to PepsiCo’s defined data management and governance policies. Ensure all data-centric initiatives leverage standardized data definitions, governance processes, and best practices. Maintain an enterprise-level repository of data standards and critical elements within the assigned data domain (e.g., external data), and advocate their adoption across the organization. Establish and track key data management and governance metrics to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness. Identify the need for enterprise-level and sub-enterprise-level data standards based on evolving business strategies, capabilities, and analytics needs. Collaborate cross-functionally to drive consistent application of data governance principles across systems, platforms, and data domains. Act as a champion for PepsiCo’s Enterprise Data Governance and Data Management programs, fostering awareness, education, and adoption across the organization. Qualifications Who Are We Looking For? Experience • 5+ years of experience working in Data Governance or Data Management experience within a global CPG (Consumer Packaged Good) company or similar industry. • Familiar with Market Insights data like Nielsen, Kantar and Circana • Strong data management background who understands data, how to ingest data, proper data use/consumption, data quality, and stewardship. • Ability to partner with both business and technical subject matter experts to ensure standardization of operational information and execution of enterprise-wide data governance policies. • Experience with SQL, Databricks and Informatica (MDM, EDC, Axon & Reference360) and advanced excel skills.    If this is an opportunity that interests you, we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet 100% of the requirements.
