Description We are looking for skilled Data Entry Clerks to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Albany, New York. In this role, you will support the digital content management efforts of the department by ensuring the accurate posting and editing of website content. This position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your organizational, communication, and technical skills in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities: • Post approved digital content to the organization's website using the Drupal content management system. • Edit and update web content under the guidance of the Digital Information Officer. • Ensure all content adheres to established style guidelines and quality standards. • Collaborate with team members to align digital communications with organizational policies and strategies. • Simplify complex information to create clear and engaging content for diverse audiences. • Maintain organization and accuracy while managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines. • Apply formatting and layout principles to enhance the visual appeal of web content. • Conduct quality checks to ensure content is error-free and meets organizational requirements. • Stay informed about best practices in digital communication and content management systems. • Support the team in improving website functionality and user experience. Requirements • Four years of experience in public relations and digital communications, or a bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Public Relations, or a related field. • Proficiency in using web content management systems, preferably Drupal. • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt content for various audiences. • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to handle multiple projects simultaneously. • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. • Knowledge of formatting, layout, and design principles for web content. • Familiarity with AP style and other established content standards. • An associate degree may substitute for two years of required experience.
