Description We are looking for a dedicated Data Entry Coordinator to join our team in Norwalk, Connecticut. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to regulatory and compliance efforts within the chemical distribution industry. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate documentation, maintaining certifications, and supporting regulatory processes.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain certifications for regulatory and quality compliance, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.
• Conduct thorough research on regulations and summarize findings to support compliance efforts.
• Review safety data sheets (SDS), labels, certificates of analysis (CoAs), and specifications for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with the sales team to provide necessary documentation and support for customer inquiries related to regulatory matters.
• Draft and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to enhance regulatory and quality functions.
• Maintain organized and accessible files for regulatory and compliance documentation.
• Assist in preparing and submitting regulatory reports to relevant agencies.
• Monitor regulatory news portals, summarize important updates, and distribute information as needed.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to their implementation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support team objectives. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in chemistry or physical sciences.
• 2-3 years of experience in a regulatory-related role, preferably within the pharmaceutical, food, or chemical industries.
• Strong understanding of regulations related to SDSs, labels, and transportation hazard safety.
• Proficiency in regulatory and legal research, with the ability to interpret and summarize applicable regulations.
• Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and PDF tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. TalentMatch®
