Description
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting and organizing employee data while ensuring consistency and precision. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a critical project within the HR department for approximately one month, with the possibility of extension based on project needs.
Responsibilities:
• Transfer employee records from OneDrive into the Paycom system with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Scan and upload credentials, ensuring they are properly linked to the corresponding employee profiles.
• Perform consistent and precise data entry to maintain the integrity of HR files.
• Organize and clean up internal HR documentation to streamline processes.
• Conduct repetitive tasks while maintaining focus and quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure data entry goals are met within the defined timeline.
• Verify the accuracy of transferred data to prevent errors and inconsistencies.
• Utilize Paycom and HRIS systems effectively to manage employee information.
• Follow established guidelines and procedures for handling sensitive employee data.
• Work independently and efficiently to meet project deadlines.
Requirements
Requirements:
• Proven experience in data entry or a similar role requiring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with computer systems, including HRIS databases and data entry software.
• Familiarity with Paycom and OneNote is preferred.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining high levels of focus and precision.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple files and records effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members when necessary.
• Commitment to handling sensitive employee information with confidentiality.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday as per the defined schedule.
