Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering and managing data in QuickBooks Desktop while ensuring consistency and precision. This position is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and offers a flexible schedule of 20 hours per week. Responsibilities: • Accurately input vendor bills into QuickBooks Desktop. • Process customer invoices and ensure timely completion. • Maintain organized records of all data entry tasks. • Perform general administrative duties, including scanning and organizing files. • Handle email correspondence with vendors and customers as needed. • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word for data management and reporting. • Perform basic calculations to verify data accuracy. • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during data entry. • Support customer service tasks related to billing inquiries. Requirements • Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop or willingness to learn. • Strong typing skills with a focus on accuracy and speed. • Familiarity with basic data entry tasks and organizational techniques. • Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word. • Ability to perform calculations and verify data. • Effective communication skills for email correspondence. • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. • Prior experience in customer service or administrative roles is a plus.
