Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead - Data Engineering to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and implementation of data engineering solutions that support our business objectives. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient data solutions. How you'll make an impact Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and architectures to support data integration, transformation, and analytics. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Oversee the implementation of data engineering best practices, including data governance, security, and quality standards. Mentor and guide a team of data engineers, providing technical expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and frameworks to enhance the data engineering ecosystem. Ensure the performance, reliability, and scalability of data systems and processes. Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other teams to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows to ensure seamless operations. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering and analytics. About You Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or technical lead role. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. Strong experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar. Expertise in designing and managing data warehouses and databases (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, SQL Server). Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their data services. Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and data architecture principles. Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance standards. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with real-time data processing and streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Flink). Knowledge of machine learning workflows and integration with data pipelines. Certification in cloud platforms or data engineering tools #LI-NP1 Compensation and benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
