**Who we are** We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our SimpliFi Studio UI team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing the backend of a cloud-based Web UI application, with a strong focus on integration with data warehouse solutions and Azure services. You will play a key role in ensuring robust performance, seamless deployment, and effective collaboration across cross-functional teams. **What you'll be doing** + Analyze requirements and design backend architecture for a Web UI application hosted on Azure. + Develop and maintain backend services, ensuring integration with data warehouse solutions. + Conduct end-to-end testing and implement monitoring solutions to ensure system reliability. + Ensure code quality through reviews and integration with code quality scan tools. + Implement automated testing and CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions. + Manage and optimize Azure services including storage accounts, Synapse, and Application Insights. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver integrated solutions. + Support front-end integration activities when needed. **What you'll bring along** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. + Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar role. + Proficiency in TypeScript and SQL, with experience in cloud-based development using Azure services. + Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud via both the Azure Portal and programmatic access. + Experience with GitHub Actions and version control systems for CI/CD automation. + Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in agile, cross-functional teams. + Willingness to support front-end development and integration tasks. + Excellent command of both spoken and written English. **What’s in it for you** ✔ New beginnings can be a challenge.
